Entropy Solutions is a small company with a big vision—and proprietary technologies that revolutionize how things are kept hot, warm, cool or cold. Our passive thermal solutions can maintain precise target temperatures for unprecedented periods of time. And they are affordable enough to be used in everyday mass applications.

Entropy was founded by Mark Wallace, whose vision for the company was sparked in 1992, when he was introduced to the founder of Cub Foods supermarkets, who told him that Cub's biggest temperature problem was keeping a pint of chocolate ice cream frozen. For the next ten years, Mark germinated, experimented and tested countless ideas to overcome that challenge.

Finally, in 2003, Mark had a breakthrough. The following year, he began collaborating with a brilliant young engineer, Preston Williams, to translate the ideas into proof of concept.

Entropy Solutions, Inc., was incorporated as a Minnesota corporation in December, 2003. Since that time, we have received early-stage financing, tested and validated our technology and filled several customer orders for pharmaceutical shippers. With a new state-of-the-art environmental test chamber, we continue to aggressively research, develop and validate new products that transcend barriers and save lives.

On May 5, 2006, Mark Wallace passed away, suddenly. But his legacy lives on. And the company will not rest until we have brought his vision to full fruition.
